Design Notes

The ARNT sequence must be designed to ensure high affinity and specificity for hypoxia response elements (HREs) as well as a high dimerization compatibility, both of which are critical for regulating gene expression under low oxygen conditions, as these interactions are pivotal for activating transcription of target genes.


Source

The protein sequence was acquired from UniProt (ID P27540) and converted to a DNA sequence via VectorBuilder and optimised for S.cerevisiae. Gibson and in vivo cloning methods were employed.
